Music Lessons: Guitar, Bass, Piano, Keyboard, & Voice

Our music lesson startup package is four consecutive weeks of private one hour lessons for $159. These four lessons will be scheduled at the same time and day each week for four consecutive weeks. To continue lessons beyond the four lesson package, you must renew by the third lesson. This will reserve your time slot and teacher for the next month. We conduct music lessons in our store on guitar, bass, piano, and voice. Up to six lesson rooms and teachers are available.

Consecutive weekly scheduled lessons are $40 each and paid monthly after the initial four lesson startup package. Payment for lessons is due on the 14^thof each month for the following month. Automatic billing to your debit or credit card is required to continue the $40 rate. Weekly scheduled lessons are $45 each for all other payment methods. Payment for all the weeks in the month is required regardless of any cancellations you make. Please advise us before the 14^th if you wish to stop taking lessons. Time slots not renewed by the 14^th will be made available to other students. We do not have a long term contract.

If a lesson is cancelled 2 hours before the scheduled start time, a make-up lesson can be scheduled or it can be used to make purchases in the retail stores. If the student does not show up for the lesson and does not call to cancel 2 hours before the start time, they cannot schedule a make-up lesson or get store credit, no exceptions. Our competitors have a 24 hour cancel policy or longer and are not as flexible regarding rescheduling or getting a store credit.

Lessons may be cancelled in person or by phone, not by email. Our store hours are noted below. After hours, please leave a message on our voice mail. To reduce confusion, we prefer that an adult cancel the lesson. Keep the name of the staff member you advise about the lesson cancel for your records. Saying something in passing to a member of the staff or the teacher may not effectively communicate to us that a lesson needs to be cancelled. Make sure we clearly understand your intent to cancel.

Make-up lessons are conducted daily and need to be scheduled with the lesson manager. Call us the week you want to setup your makeup lesson. Cancelled lessons are not automatically rescheduled and added to your weekly scheduled lessons. Store credit is available for lessons not used. Sorry, we do not offer refunds. Store credit can be used towards the purchase of in stock merchandise, restring service, or guitar repairs, not to purchase more music lessons.

If a student misses more than two weeks in a row or more than 50% of their lessons in a month, they may be removed from the lesson schedule and their time slot will be made available to other students. Our staff will attempt to contact you to find a more convenient time that may better suit your schedule. Students must contact the lesson manager to continue taking lessons and get back on our schedule.

In some cases it will be necessary for us to provide a substitute or new teacher. In these instances, the lesson will be conducted with another teacher. The lesson manager will select the most appropriate teacher for the student. This teacher will review your lesson history so they can be prepared for your lesson. Students may choose to take lessons with any teacher, schedule permitting. Please advise the lesson manager if you are not happy with any of our teachers for any reason.

We do not conduct lessons on New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4^th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. All other holidays, we are conducting lessons.
