Hello! I am Javier and I have been playing the guitar for
more than 10 years; I currently hold a Bachelors Degree in Music from Florida
State University with a Certificate in Guitar Performance. I have, also, a lot
of experience playing classical, latin, jazz, blues and classic rock in a great
variety of settings and ensembles. One of my goals as a teacher is to transmit
unto you that passion and love that I have for this instrument and music in
general; I also like to emphasize in my students the importance of good
technique and theory, because if you understand your hand and the relationship
between the notes, you can do anything you want in music.
Hello, my name is Doug.
I've Been Playing guitar for 23 yrs. I teach several different styles on all
levels, but mostly enjoy playing classical, blues, rock, punk, and METAL.!! I
was the lead guitarist in a band called "Dekcuf" that played the South Florida
area until 2002. Since then, I've been teaching the tips and tricks of the
pro's. My major influences are, Dimebag Darrell, Zakk Wylde, Joe Satriani, and
John Petrucci, just to name a few. Although learning to play guitar may be a
never ending experience, with a little dedication and practice, it will prove to
be exciting and rewarding..
Hello, my name is Dillon. I have been playing
guitar for about 8 years now, and I have been in multiple bands. I have played
guitar clinics, shows, and many ameatur gigs! I can play/teach any genre of
music; and also out of a book or by ear. The band I am in right now is a local
band named Last Night's Thought. In addition to teaching at SoFlo Guitars, I
also run the store floor. I know how guitars are built, work, and I have all the
information about accessories and amps you could need! If you need any extra
information that you do not already know or sketchy on, I can definitely help

Jules and I've been playing guitar for about 12 years.I started off playing classical guitar, but
electric guitar is my true love. I also have extensive knowledge in
theory, and read both standard notation and tabs extremely well. I'm quite
flexible with any genre of music, including pop, country, and any genre of rock.
Some of personal influences are bands like A Perfect Circle, Marilyn Manson,
Lacuna Coil, Slayer, and many more! The effort you put into your guitar is
what you will get out of it.
